Living in a World of Octobers Herbal Tea Blend
Living in a World of Octobers Herbal Tea Blend
"...a glorious October, all red and gold, with mellow mornings when the valleys were filled with delicate mists as if the spirit of autumn had poured them in for the sun to drain—"
-L. M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables
This fall tea, inspired by Anne of Green Gables, embraces the warm, wholesome charm of L.M. Montgomery’s beloved story.
At the heart of this blend is real pumpkin, providing a naturally rich and creamy texture that evokes the cozy feel of the season. Complementing this is a balanced pumpkin spice mix of cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves, which brings a comforting, nostalgic warmth. Honeybush tea acts as the sweet, earthy base, reflecting Anne’s love for nature and the vibrant surroundings of Prince Edward Island. Ginger adds a hint of zesty brightness, much like Anne's lively and imaginative spirit. Pink peppercorns introduce a playful spiciness, adding layers of complexity, while turmeric brings its golden hue and subtle, earthy flavor, grounding the blend in a comforting autumn tone. Roasted almonds contribute a nutty depth, reminiscent of the crackling fires of autumn evenings, and cocoa nibs offer a dark, chocolatey finish—an indulgent treat with just the right amount of bittersweetness to round out the blend.
Together, these flavors evoke the spirit of Anne’s adventures and the beauty of autumn on the island.
