“That was Flint's treasure that we had come so far to seek, and that had cost already the lives of seventeen men from the Hispaniola. How many it had cost in the amassing, what blood and sorrow, what good ships scuttled on the deep, what brave men walking the plank blindfold, what shot of cannon, what shame and lies and cruelty, perhaps no man alive could tell.”
- Robert Louis Stevenson, Treasure Island
The only thing this tea is hiding is the pleasant combination of aromatic, mild, full-bodied and slightly smoky flavor notes of Gunpowder Black tea and the slightly tangy roasted flavor of Gunpowder Green tea. Gunpowder tea got its name from the way it is processed, with the leaves rolled into small pearls.
1-2 teaspoons of loose leaf tea in 8oz of water.
Steep at 212° F for 3 minutes
Ingredients: Gunpowder China Black Tea, Organic Gunpowder China Green Tea.
